Y es que, durante a\u00f1os, nos han dicho que reduzcamos nuestro colesterol LDL (el famoso colesterol \u00abmalo\u00bb) para proteger la salud de nuestro coraz\u00f3n. Pero \u00bfy si todo lo que nos han dicho es en realidad mentira o ,en el mejor de los casos, enga\u00f1oso?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La verdad es que centrarnos en un solo marcador como el colesterol puede ser incre\u00edblemente frustrante. Es f\u00e1cil sentir que lo est\u00e1s haciendo todo \u00abbien\u00bb: llevar una dieta \u00abequilibrada\u00bb, hacer ejercicio, y sin embargo, ese marcador no parece cambiar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo cierto es que la salud card\u00edaca es mucho m\u00e1s compleja de obtener que simplemente intentar mantener un LDL bajo. Como lo demuestran incontables personas que disminuyen su colesterol con medicamentos, y de cualquier forma desarrollan problemas cardiacos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El verdadero problema es un proceso persistente y subyacente: la inflamaci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica. Y esta no se trata de un evento repentino y dr\u00e1stico; es una acumulaci\u00f3n gradual de da\u00f1o en el cuerpo. Es un saboteador silencioso que contribuye discretamente al desarrollo de enfermedades card\u00edacas, incluso si tus cifras de LDL parecen estar dentro del rango \u00abnormal\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El factor clave: inflamaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La inflamaci\u00f3n constante (es decir, cr\u00f3nica) se desencadena por una multitud de factores: una dieta rica en alimentos ultra procesados, la falta de actividad f\u00edsica e incluso una menor exposici\u00f3n a la luz solar. Estos factores pueden crear un caos que provoque un da\u00f1o celular generalizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed que es crucial reconocer que nuestro entorno juega un papel importante. El estilo de vida moderno com\u00fanmente implica pasar la mayor parte del tiempo en interiores de forma sedentaria, lo que limita nuestra exposici\u00f3n a la luz natural, al aire libre y al movimiento que el cuerpo humano necesita. Esto definitivamente afecta el delicado equilibrio de nuestro cuerpo. No se trata solamente de medicamentos para dejar de ver el problema en n\u00fameros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de solo el colesterol en los an\u00e1lisis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Entonces, \u00bfqu\u00e9 puedes hacer? En lugar de centrarte \u00fanicamente en una cifra de colesterol, prioriza estos cambios en tu estilo de vida:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sal al aire libre:<\/strong> El <a href=\"https:\/\/nelsonrazo.com\/nutricion\/2024\/09\/24\/por-que-la-actividad-fisica-es-tan-importante-para-la-salud\/\">ejercicio regula<\/a>r, especialmente al aire libre, es fundamental. La exposici\u00f3n a la luz solar aumenta la producci\u00f3n de vitamina D y K2, ambas con efectos antiinflamatorios.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mueve tu cuerpo:<\/strong> Incluso una simple caminata puede marcar la diferencia. Intenta realizar al menos 30 minutos de actividad de intensidad moderada la mayor\u00eda de los d\u00edas de la semana. O mejor aun, diario.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Alimenta tu cuerpo correctamente:<\/strong> Conc\u00e9ntrate en una dieta natural minimamente procesada rica en prote\u00ednas animales, grasas, verduras y algunas frutas. Limita los alimentos ultra procesados, el az\u00facar y todo alimento elaborado con harinas de granos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conclusi\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Es hora de cambiar nuestra perspectiva. Contrario a lo que nos han dicho por mucho tiempo, en consumo de grasa por s\u00ed mismo no fomenta el colesterol alto, ni el colesterol alto fomenta por s\u00ed mismo las enfermedades del coraz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La salud card\u00edaca no se trata solo de mantener un nivel bajo de LDL; se trata de combatir la inflamaci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica con un enfoque integral. Y, como ya lo hemos abordado en <a href=\"https:\/\/nelsonrazo.com\/nutricion\/2024\/07\/22\/no-se-trata-solo-del-colesterol-alto\/\">otro art\u00edculo<\/a>, la soluci\u00f3n a las enfermedades cardiovasculares no es el consumo de medicamentos para disminuir el <a href=\"https:\/\/nelsonrazo.com\/nutricion\/2024\/02\/03\/mas-que-glucosa-y-colesterol-en-tus-analisis-de-sangre\/\">colesterol en la sangre<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tu estilo de vida tiene un impacto mucho m\u00e1s profundo, y llevar uno saludable ayuda a mantener la salud cardiaca y general desde la ra\u00edz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero no lo tienes que resolver esto sol@.
