Historias sobre <em>Growth Hacking<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Si aun no sabes sobre este enfoque de marketing <a href=\"http:\/\/nelsonrazo.com\/blog\/2016\/08\/03\/la-importancia-del-marketing-digital\/\">en la era digital<\/a>, te recomiendo leer el anterior post sobre el tema: el Growth <a href=\"http:\/\/nelsonrazo.com\/blog\/2018\/01\/23\/el-growth-hacking-explicado\/\">Hacking Explicado<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Siguiendo con este enfoque, esta vez analizaremos c\u00f3mo es que, haciendo uso de un enfoque de <em>growth hacking<\/em>, una de esas empresas se catapult\u00f3 de ser solamente una idea para conseguir unos peque\u00f1os ingresos extra, a convertirse en una empresa que actualmente est\u00e1 valorada en 31 mil millones de d\u00f3lares, y cuenta con m\u00e1s de 150 millones de usuarios.<\/p>\n<p>Y la historia comenz\u00f3 hace solamente 10 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<h3>La idea inicial<\/h3>\n<p>Era el 2007, y los compa\u00f1eros de departamento Brian Chesky y Joe Gebbia tuvieron la idea de, para conseguir un poco de dinero extra pasivamente, rentar espacio en su sala a personas que necesitaran donde quedarse de visita en la ciudad de San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>Junto con los tres colchones inflables con los que comenzaron en su sala, tambi\u00e9n ofrec\u00edan desayuno casero, lo que en Estados Unidos se conoce como un hospedaje Bed &amp; Breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que al servicio de llamaron AirBed &amp; Breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>In 2008, Nathan Blecharczyk se les uni\u00f3 \u00a0y lanzaron el sitio web oficial <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20080906174350\/http:\/\/airbedandbreakfast.com\/\">Airbedandbreakfast.com<\/a>, en el cual los interesados pod\u00edan consultar si ten\u00edan espacios disponibles el d\u00eda necesario.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1069\" src=\"http:\/\/nelsonrazo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/airbnb1.jpg\" alt=\"Airbnb\" width=\"850\" height=\"279\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>El <em>growth hacking<\/em> y la r\u00e1pida evoluci\u00f3n de Airbnb<\/h3>\n<p>Como ya se imaginan si conocen el servicio, pronto la idea de airbedanbreakfast.com se hizo tan popular y la aplicaci\u00f3n tan utilizada que los creadores se preguntaron \u00bfy por qu\u00e9 no hacer algo m\u00e1s para enfocar el servicio?<\/p>\n<p>Consiguieron m\u00e1s lugares que tuvieran espacio disponible para alojar hu\u00e9spedes, y lo dirigieron a un mercado espec\u00edfico: quienes pretend\u00edan atender a conferencias y seminarios en el \u00e1rea de San Francisco y no ten\u00edan posibilidad de reservar (o no deseaban hacerlo) en un hotel com\u00fan.<\/p>\n<p>Utilizando el popular servicio en l\u00ednea de clasificados <a href=\"https:\/\/sfbay.craigslist.org\/\">Craigslist<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/growthhackers.com\/growth-studies\/airbnb\">expusieron sus oferta<\/a> de hospedaje a una cantidad de usuarios a la cual no hubieran podido llegar por s\u00ed mismos.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, el servicio tuvo m\u00e1s que el \u00e9xito esperado, al resolver un problema real de manera pr\u00e1ctica para su mercado meta. Pero todo no quedo ah\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>En otra reuni\u00f3n, <a href=\"https:\/\/press.atairbnb.com\/about-us\/\">los creadores<\/a> se preguntaron \u00bfc\u00f3mo podemos ofrecer este tipo de hospedaje a trav\u00e9s de nuestra aplicaci\u00f3n en distintas partes del mundo?<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que con el poder de la comunicaci\u00f3n digital se hicieron de contactos con espacios para hospedar disponibles en varios pa\u00edses, le cambiaron el nombre al servicio para eliminar lo del desayuno, y naci\u00f3 el ahora popular, exitoso, pero sobre todo \u00fatil servicio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.com\/\">Airbnb<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed es como, desde 2011, Airbnb ofrece desde un espacio para acampar hasta un castillo o una isla privada en la cual puedes rentar tiempo y espacio para hospedarte, en casi cualquier parte del mundo.<\/p>\n<h3>La clave del crecimiento exponencial<\/h3>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 nos llevamos como interesados en marketing del caso Airbnb?<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Que tu producto o servicio, desde el principio, debe cubrir una necesidad real del mercado. No tiene que ser la m\u00e1s grande o ambiciosa. Solamente real. Esta regla no ha cambiado a trav\u00e9s de <a href=\"http:\/\/nelsonrazo.com\/blog\/2016\/05\/01\/mercadotecnia-branding-identidad\/\">la historia del marketing<\/a>; sigue siendo lo mismo en la era digital.<\/li>\n<li>Con el poder del <em>Growth Hacking<\/em> y las herramientas de retroalimentaci\u00f3n digitales, delimitar o mejorar esa idea basada en los datos que obtienes del producto inicial.<\/li>\n<li>Pensando creativamente, encontrar formas de \u00abcolgarte\u00bb de un medio o una forma de promoci\u00f3n que llega naturalmente a tu mercado meta.<\/li>\n<li>Nunca dejar de preguntarte: \u00bfy ahora qu\u00e9?
